Sailing | Basic rules of safety for doing light sailing

 You must know the area well
Find out about the possible difficulties and dangers of the area. Choose the sailing area depending on your technical capacity and the weather conditions and do not go far out. When sailing be respectful of the environment.

Find out about the weather forecast. If there is a risk of a storm or a sharp change in the weather, do not go out.

Before going out, check all pulleys, heads and the rings of the rudder. Have periodical services done.
